Hangzhou Donghua Chain Group Co., Ltd. (originated from Hangzhou Donghua Chain General Factory), one of the largest chain manufacturers in China, has five subsidiaries including Hangzhou Ziqiang Chain Drive Co. Ltd, Hangzhou Dunpai Chain Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Donghua Power Transmission Imp.&Exp Co., Ltd. etc. Hangzhou Donghua Chain Group Co., Ltd. was founded in November 1991. It covers an area over 300 mu with building area more than 200000 square meters. Its capital value RMB200 million Yuan. There are more than 2000 sets of equipments. Its annual capacity is more than 30 million meters. In 2006, the total sales income was RMB 725 million Yuan, which includes the export sale of US50 million Dollars. There were nearly 700 kinds of new products in 2006. Since 1999, it has been leading in China’s Chain Industry for its comprehensive strength. In 2000, it was selected as a member of Chain Drive Branch of China General Machine Components Industry Association and was reappointed in 2005. Donghua amalgamated Hangzhou Dunpai Chain Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Dongfeng Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. in 2003. From then on, Donghua has widened its business from manufacture of parts and accessories to production of whole machine.
The company is specialized in producing all kinds of standard chains and special chains, e.g. A , B series standard chains, automobile chains, stainless steel chains, combine harvester chains, heavy-load cranked link transmission chains, stereo garage chains and maintenance-free chains etc. In recent years, Donghua has made investment constantly. Thanks to advanced science and technology, the company has accelerated the development of various special chains and chains of high precision and high intensity to meet demands of both the domestic and overseas markets.
The company can supply several kinds of chains, separately under brands of “Ziqiang” ,“Donghua” and “Dunpai” in accordance with the national standard (GB), international standard (ISO) and the advanced industrial countries’ standards (JIS, ANSI, BS, DIN etc.). “Donghua” has successfully registered the trademark of “Donghua” in 67 countries all over the world, including Madrid, U.S., Canada, Mexico, etc. “Donghua” has been appraised as a famous trademark in Zhejiang Province. “Ziqiang” has won the title of “famous brand” and has been appraised as a famous trademark in Zhejiang Province. The company enjoys the export authority. In 2002, the company passed the process inspection by Zhejiang Commodity Inspection Bureau and became one of the first enterprises with the qualification of “Green Channel”. Most products are far exported to Europe, U.S, Japan, and Southeast Asia etc. It also cooperates with global well-known agricultural machinery leaders including John Deer, New Holland and Claas, etc. to provide production-line chains for first-class enterprises in the world, e.g. Siemens and Bosch, etc. Its sales network covers all over the domestic market and it cooperates with many OEM machinery factories, e.g. by offering automobile driving chains in lot for SAIC and conveyor chains specialized for Baosteel’s production, etc. The lots of chains have entered such industries as metallurgy, petroleum and machinery.
The company has passed ISO9002 Certificate of Quality Assurance System in 1996 and ISO9001 Certificate of Quality Assurance System in 1999. In 2002, it passed the revised version of ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System—ISO 9001:2000. In the same year, it became one of the first enterprises in China to passed ISO14000 Certificate of Environmental Management System and awarded with the title of “Green Enterprise” in Zhejiang Province. In July, 2004, the company has won the certification of API SPEC Q1 authorized by American Petroleum Institute (API). Also in 2004, it passed the inspection and acceptance of “Clean Production”. In January 2006，the company obtained the certificate of ISO/TS16949:2002 authorized by Shanghai DQS Asia Padfie Management System Certification Co.,Ltd. while in December, it was awarded with certificates for products of precise roller chains, bush chains and motor chains authorized by Beijing Cheng-ye Machinery Quality Certification Co.,Ltd. By carrying out ISO9000 quality system, the company has gradually established standard and scientific documentation of quality management system as well as a prevention-oriented process control system, which is favorable for improvement and fine circulation in order to steadily upgrade the quality. The company has set up and carried out first-class measure inspection system. The company also initiates 6S management and board-viewing management.
